Job Responsibilities

  • Support the full employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance development, and off-boarding.
  • Assist hiring managers in developing clear job descriptions and sourcing qualified candidates across Canada.
  • Conduct interviews, reference checks, and pre screening assessments to ensure quality hires.
  • Support training programs, employee development initiatives, and internal communication efforts.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and compliance with Canadian employment regulations.
  • Contribute to the growth of company culture through engagement initiatives and team support.
  • Handle employee inquiries with professionalism, confidentiality, and care.
  • Assist in developing HR policies that align with company values and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support workforce planning and future hiring needs.

Education & Experiences

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in an HR, talent acquisition, or people operations role.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian employment laws and workplace standards.
  • Comfort working in a fast paced environment with evolving hiring needs.
  • Experience in financial services or a client facing industry is considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems or applicant tracking tools is an asset.
